I think Andre Gomez and Gylfi Sigurdsson should be far more worried than Tom Davies.
I think both may be gone before the window closes.
gomes isn’t going anywere

He's meant to have been training with Watford for their preseason, I wonder if he could start or play a bunch of minutes against Spurs?
Yes lid.Where have you been lolAfternoon lids, this the new “hipster thread” now James is over the line or what?!
We signed two central midfielders, not one.Why there is only one Championship player there.

Locked in the toilet, nothing but a mobile phone, some battery packs, links to James videos and jumbo bog roll to my name. Thought it was time to dip me head outYes lid.Where have you been lol
...it’s a weird pre-season where lots of them won’t have many playing minutes in their legs. They’ll all have to be managed for muscle fatigue (I’m sure this was the issue with Gbamin), so there must be a chance he gets some game time.
Looking forward to the "Davies didn't know" video that comes just before Doucoure is confirmed.

The manager doesn't want to alter the midfield , he wants to change it completely. The most senior central midfielder we have by some distance is Andre Gomes , it looks to me as if he just hasn't impressed the manager and is now a squad player or will be sold as we probably need to bring in some money.
Sigurdsson is not a defensive midfielder but was playing deeper because of lack of options however the signing of JR immediately pushed Sigurdsson down the pecking order and from what I have read and heard about him he will not accept that role and will want a move... something that will probably suit the club very well.
Tom Davies is still only 22 and I believe a player the manager lies.
I think he has done well in some games, not so well in others.
Just because he is the scapegoat on GOT counts for nothing...imo.
