Can't wait to see him and Allan around Gomes.

That's such a combative, powerful midfield, with a bit of everything.

Throw in James, who it does seem is gonna play in a more advanced, free role, and it's starting to look like a real team.

Obviously we then have the option of playing 4-2-3-1 with Doucoure off the striker, or James off the striker and rotating two of the other three.

Get a right-back in and then, ideally, shift one of the wingers (well, if we can get Bolasie + another out I mean) on our books to bring in a direct, pacey wide player and we actually have the basis of a very good side for the here and now.

Holgate injury dependant, mind, we may need a CB.

Couldn't agree more. Allan and Daucoure without Gomes lacks a bit of finesse. the three of them is just so so good (in theory).
then the front three with James as you say drifting off the right... it's a really exciting team.
I'm fine with Coleman at RB.

Bolasie, Besic, Davies, Delph and Iwobi OR Bernard can leave for me.

Nice squad being assembled by a world class manager.
