I get your point but I mean he has watched him play week in week out and says he is sloppy and poor in possession and then if you have actually watched Doucoure that is hard to disagree with. If Carlo just wants someone to run around with little skill then yeah its a great signing.

to be fair they had a great season before last and then panicked after a poor start and sacked their manager, and then another one and then another one.

They were more than good enough to stay up and from what I see of Decoure he is mobile and powerful something we really lack in our midfield

I’m not 100% sold on him though but better than what we have as Gbamin is a Mr glass and can’t be relied on

I'm not sure he's that good, but at least the recruitment makes logical sense. Hopefully it all fits together. The 3 players we are after are for areas of enormous weakness.

I was chatting to my mate from Uni last night who has a season ticket at Watford and he says that Doucoure is living off one good season and has been poor. He says he has some engine but he is sloppy in possession and technically not brilliant. I have to say I have not been convinced from what I have seen and don't really get the hype. Part of me thinks that we should hold on and someone better may come up next summer. Rodriguez and Allan may bring the best out of some of our current midfielders.

That is an odd way to run a football team, if you can strengthen now,you do. I think Doucoure is coming for his energy and physicality, his engine, we are getting Allan and James and have Gomes for the tidy technical stuff, we need some legs now.
