Nobody's acolyte. Definitely don't hate attacking full backs. Although. Not sure Moyes does either. Unless Baines doesnt count. I think Diouf is a headless chicken. Not sure he's overly well received by West Ham fans either.

I think the “Wan-Bissaka is terrible going forward” thing is a bit outdated now.

Earlier in his career, especially at United, it was fair criticism. His crossing was inconsistent, he didn’t offer loads creatively, and technically he could look a bit awkward on the ball compared to attacking full-backs like Trent or Reece James.

But over the last couple of seasons, especially at West Ham, he’s definitely improved. He’s carrying the ball forward more, overlapping more confidently, and his attacking output is actually pretty decent now for a defensively minded full-back.

I think the bigger issue is people still judge him off the reputation he built 4–5 years ago. He’s never going to be a playmaker from right-back, but “poor going forward” probably isn’t accurate anymore. More like average to good offensively, while still being elite defensively.

The same amount of prem assists in his first season as Wan Bissaka’s best season for assists. And he should have had more given the glorious crosses he put in. His deep free kicks are ridiculous. I’d take a headless chicken with technical ability over a steady eddy any day.

He’s not the best going forward but he’s fast. Does that allow us to play a higher line, if Jake moves to CB with Jarrod?

Kerkez and Frimpomg are great going forward but have cost Liverpool defensively this year. TAA is the best attacking full back in the league but due to his defensive frailties he’s not going to the wood cup.

So as I said, don’t hate it.

I'm not advocating for AWB so its poor comparison. See how you sidestepped your inference of Moyes not liking attack minded full backs.
