The big thing it would do would be to help the full back behind him, which when Seamus came back would have allowed him to bomb forward knowing their was suitable cover to back him up
Lennon's assistance from a defensive perspective cannot be understated
I personally think he wasn't going to get many minutes if he'd stayed so moving on was the right action, but to deny he wouldn't have brought anything to the team if he had played is incorrect
Footys not all about goals and assists
A defensive winger woooooo. He's one of the 4 main attacking positions in our team so he needs some output. We have no idea how Coleman will return.
Being a defensive winger is a skill
Defensive doesn't equal bad
You want to know what skills he brings to the table, that's one of them
He also runs against defences and still has pace at his age
He has useful skills
To deny those skills is idiocy
Does it make him an amazing player? No. Does it mean he can a useful cog in a successful squad if used correctly? Absolutely
We'll agree to disagree on whether or not we'll miss him. Shows how far short we are of being this apparent big club if we'll miss a Lennon on the pitch IMO.
Big clubs have useful players like Lennon in their squads
They may not play every week, but they're still there to be called upon when necessary
You can't have a squad full of superstar players
Model pro's like Lennon are just what you need in the support role
Wow, £10 million is a good fee tbh.
Indeed. See Ashley Young at United as a good example.

Sorry, meant Lookman.Mate Lennon plays for Burnley, and Vlasic hasn't really proven what position he plays best in at all. So there we go, we have two natural (proven) wide players (I'd actually say just one because I don't deem Bolasie as worthy of playing in this division), and that's it.
Nah they've said nominal. No way it's more than 2WTF!?!?!? Surely not?
He's miles better than Lennon though.
