Obviously we dont know all the ins and outs about his situation, but when Koemans team was screaming out for some pace and graft at the start of the season, why Aaron wasn't even getting in the squad is criminal

Disagree, he's a very useful squad player to have. Even the best teams in the country have hard working players as part of their squad and obviously we're not in that category anyway. Milner for example is a journeyman yet has played for some of the best teams in the country as he can do a specific job and is happy to help out anywhere.

Lennon's pace and effort is important to us. I think he contributes far more in a defensive sense than going forward and I am fine with that. Lookman, Vlasic, Bolasie, Barkley etc are different where they contribute more going forward with their pace.

Be interesting to see how Big Sam sets up, but you look at ManU/C & Chelsea, more & more using 3 at the back with wingers as wing backs. He could be very useful in that role.

Aaron is very important to us in that he is one from the "defend as a team" school. We don't look anywhere near as exposed when he is on the wing for us.

Like or loathe big Sam I think he will recognise who is prepared to roll their sleeves up and work hard and Aaron falls into that category, not right for every match but a cracking squad player to have giving you tactical options.
