Aaron Lennon ( On Loan January 2015 )

How much would you pay for Lennon in the Summer

  • Up to the rumoured 6 or 7 million - worth every penny

  • No more than 5 million - he's OK, but not worth any more

  • No more than 3 million - he's got no end product ffs

  • Wouldn't take him on a free, he's badly gash

  • Stop asking me questions and stick the grill on

He's done well, but could offer a lot more if only Coleman and others would try now and again to play the ball over the LB for him to run on to.

i hope he keeps it up (and we keep him) but im aware that opinions can change fast and 1 good half season dont mean jack in regards to that

our kid was lording it over me because he really backed the signing... If theres anything ive learnt as an everton fan its dont tempt fate and expect the worst :(

Been impressed with Lennon, he has won us quite a lot of points in his short time with us and fitted in well within the team so on that basis he is probably worth 7m in todays market.

However if we keep all our other wingers that means Lennon/McGeady on the right and Mirallas/Pienaar on the left which although an improvement over two years ago am not sure it is reliable enough fitness/performance wise to challlenge for 4th place which is what we should ideally be aiming for.

But given the other holes in our squad (at least one CB, a goalkeeper, backup RB and a playmaker needed) not sure we have the funds to spend more on wingers.

Mirallas prob won't be here
McGeady is [Poor language removed]
Pienaar has no legs
Lennon is on loan

IMO we desperately need a winger or 2 in the summer

I know you're reserved here...fair do's...he's had a propensity of being lacking in the final third in his career.

That said, hasn't he been a difference maker for us? Sadly I/we might have to admit he's been our best player at the end of the day.

He's not as good as the English media tried to make him when he was younger, but he's far better than what a lot would like to frame him as. He makes us better...

We should sign him, he done well and he wont be slacking off when we sign him, plus he will want to get back into the England team for the Euros and world cup.

He surprises me a lot. Never thought he'd be a real hard worker. He runs a lot, track back, can put a tackle, he's very positive in going forward and great in playing between the lines. He's exactly what we needed, brilliant acquisition by Martinez.

We should sign him permanently. If he can keep his form, he'd get England call up soon.

Well he's won me over. See poll above too!

See every young English player except Rooney. Correct though pal.

I've been pleasantly surprised by him as I've never rated the lad. He's been great, I just worry he's playing for a move and once signed his form will dip.

I thought that. But its the Euros next Summer and Englands wide options are genuinely poor, so theres motivation there to continue to perform.

But, i dont think he'd that kind of player who plays for a contract.

I hope you are right. I'd take the chance anyway.

What about his hunger for winning games, achievements, cups, world cup, euros, the buzz when scoring a goal, erm no he will still be the same player unless he get injured.
