Now they don't.
Laughing here at the ignorance. Sorry mate but your wrong. My Mac cost me 4 times the cost of my wife's PC, but it's 10 times better - has more memory, bigger screen, more space, faster processor, better operating system.
It's not a con, it's supply and demand. Simple really.
You saying that PCs with boss specs are not considerably cheaper than lesser spec Apples mate?
These are facts were dealing with here.
Well we need to see some figures.
The way everyone is going on it's like it's a blatant rip off - and to be honest those who are slating the Mac haven't a clue because they've never used one.
I use both, so I think I am more qualified than most to make a judgement.
But it's not just about the specs of the machine, there is the build quality, the environmental issues, the state of the operating system, the quality of the software - Microsoft have a long standing reputation for putting out buggy software, which people on here conveniently seem to forget.
You're joking surely.
Not at all mate.
Think of it like trainers. Would you buy a pair of trainers with no name from a discount store for a tenner?
Exactly my point, you buy an Apple - despite it being an inferior machine for the same price as a PC - purely for the brand.
You're a victim of effective marketing mate.
So you buy trainers on brand alone? Not for quality?
I admit that Apple is more expensive than PC's, but then it's a completely different market, as PCs have many different manufacturers, Apple is a one off.
But how about this for a con:
Windows 7 Ultimate Full - Buy and download from Microsoft Store
Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard - Apple Store (U.S.)
Explain that one?
We were talking about actual PCs here but it was proven that PCs are better so it was deflected to operating systems which once again has not shown le apple in a good light.
