There's no mystery to it.

We're riding high in the top four last November when the survey was taken: 84%.
We're bottom half of the table the November before that when the survey was taken: 55%.

Guess what it'll be this November coming if we're mid-table. circa 60%? Probably.

Even if it's 55% you have to wonder how that percentage think its well run.

My arl fella would probably say it as he has no dealings with them other than renewing his season ticket and walking in the turnstyle. People who go every week home and away will have a different view.

Has he really re-mortgaged?
Does anybody know for deffo?

He did yes, when he first bought the Club.

We only have his word for it and considering hes a born liar, I think he was telling the truth on this occasion.

But I would re-mortgage my house tomorrow if it meant I would be looking at getting a return ofaround 40m.

But didnt he pay something like £20m for Johnsons shares? Some fekkin house!

In a comprehensive survey of Everton fans named Kenwright, Woods and Earl 84% feel the club is well run. The other 16% were bored with the question!

I think he paid 8m for his share of the 20m, but most of it was a loan from Anita Gregg.

Cheers mate. Googled her; all a bit murky, to say the least, back then wasnt it! Bristol Evening Post doesnt cover Eberton in much detail!

Basically he did what anyone would do who wanted to raise a bit of cash for an investment - he used his house as collateral.

There's nothing particularly heroic about that and so he should shut up about it. You'd think the club was on the brink of collapse and that he was the white knight in shining armour who rode in and saved it the way the goes on about it.

Who else was around who was prepared to take over the running of the club?
