You're the fella that gave Bill a standing ovation when his face was on the big screen during the villa game aren't you.

Not at all, I'm just realistic in my assessment of how much the self-reinforcing opinions of the few people who post in this forum actually matter and how grounded in reality they are.

I think we all agree its made up bullshine, thats all that matters.

looking at the PL survey in more detail, they produce this gem, following, ahem, "research".

"Most supporters attend live games for the atmosphere, and to see their team play live."

Never knew that.

I've no doubt that there are aspects of the club that are badly run, but there are also bits that are very well run, mainly the actual football side of it, the first team, the reserves, the whole academy system, Everton in the Community, stuff like that. That's a pretty big chunk of the club which is, in my opinion, well run. Credit where it is due, please.

Everton in the Community is run by a separate group of people. How can a club which has royally f***ed up a gift of a stadium move to the heart of Liverpool, has run up large debts, and has sold off assets including the training ground be 'well run' ? We're good on the pitch in spite of the owners, not because of them. No players bought for 2 years ffs.

Give over. You've just said people aren't 'grounded in reality' if they don't think the club is well run.

Read that into it if you want, but that's not what I meant. Anyway, got to dash, got a real life to go and live. Enjoy each others opinions. :)

You made it up didn't you? You dont know what dates were used, and there is no link. I'm at a loss as to why you did it.

The survey started at least as early as the 17th of October, discussed here:

http://www.chelseafc.com/news-article/article/2951193/title/premier-league-fans-survey

And it was on until at least the 8th of November, posted here:

http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/2012/11/08/premier-league-fan-survey

The prize draw attached to the survey began on the 15th of October (and one would logically assume the survey would have to be available from then also). It ran for about a month by the looks of things, and during that period i think we drew four times in a row.
