That would actually be a great result all considered.I'd take that at this point. Would basically mean no more points deductions for us either..

While clubs like city and chelsea can operate with impunity and then the likes of Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal can use established revenues to further extend the wealth gaps and prevent any actual competition with help from the rules, I feel sympathy for clubs like forest. But why?
The club had a transfer net spend of circa £160 million last season alone bringing in about a thousand players and it kept them up. They have a hefty salary bill as well knowing full well about the FFP rules.
Everton's net transfer spend over the past four seasons has been close to zero!
Forest should be hammered in my view as there's no comparison in terms of which team unequivocally gained a sporting advantage.
I actually think over the weeks, he seems a pretty decent person. Still want them to lose all the time like lolLuton manager Rob Edwards on Everton's points deduction being reduced: "It makes no real difference, we were in the bottom three before and we still are.
"The situation is the same from our point of view. Deductions can't be the thing that keeps us in the league, we've got to keep it in our own hands. But it's good to have a bit of clarity.
"This is a difficult league, it's been tough from day one. More charges but that is completely out of our hands. If we don't do our job then it doesn't matter.
"We're just four points behind Forest with a game in hand. We're in the mix. It's not changed our task.
"Sean Dyche seems to have handled it very, very well. It's a unique situation, something none of us have had to deal with before. We don't want to have to rely on other things to stay in the league.
"I won't comment on what could happen in the future, but clarity on a number of points (would be good). It would help everyone."
On further charges for Everton and Nottingham Forest: "Maybe [the players will think about that], it's human nature but we can't control that.
"We can't bank on that or use it so that's completely our of our control. These are difficult questions because it is very new and I've not experienced it before. But it is hypothetical at the moment. We have to focus on ourselves."
I'm an empathetic guy Mattit’s everton only care about us!

I'll be surprised if we get any more. They’ll slap four on for the second charge.
Utter shambles and are that much of a mess they’ve copied the EFLs framework because they didn’t have one.
Either way, we need to start winning games. Saturday and other results through the season haven’t helped.
3 points needed on Saturday now minimum
Bit random but it's made throwing 4pts away against Palace/Brighton in the last week sting even more.
We'd be 2/3 wins away from safety now.
Ah come on. That's a bit harsh. Everton can't come out and call the PL rats and are aware of way more than we are about what went on in all of those meetings. The focus of our appeal seemed more about clearing our name that we acted in bad faith rather than wanting points back. We just don’t want people to think we meant to do wrong.
Pathetic club.
I still don’t understand how they can charge us for the same period twice. There's no clarity on whether we will get further points docked by the second charge.
Anyone read anything anywhere in the statement that gives us a hint at least whether there would be double jeopardy?
