6 + 2 Point Deductions

I have a terrible feeling there won’t be any further point deductions for anyone, as they’ve made such an arse of it this time. Just little old Everton getting stitched up by the usual suspects.

It could be another Prince Oumar diving for a pen punishment all over again.
I'd take that at this point. Would basically mean no more points deductions for us either..

@Rooney_Tunes can you put another suggestion in for the Faux ITK 2024 GOT Trophy.
I told you two weeks ago it would be four points and it was supposed to have been announced that Wednesday. Not sure why the delay.

Why don't you go and vault all the times I said four points will be returned; be consistent.

@Moomin trust you will have a wonderful rest of your day.

I am actually angry at the club claiming to be satisfied

Would United or City or the Reds leadership get 6 points docked and claim to be satisfied?

Pathetic
Said the exact same thing to my girlfriend when I saw the statement. If it happened to any of those three, they'd be screaming bloody murder that they got punished at all, not like us celebrating a change from nails to rope when we're still getting crucified.

Unbelievably cowardly that.

Yeah if I was Forest I don't know how I could see this as positive. Something it also *should* confirm is that City and Chelsea will 100% be relegated at the very least. I know that none of us truly know what other club's charges are but we do know those 3 are far worse than ours, City and Chelsea by magnitudes. PL have now established that charges = points deduction. Even if City are for example guilty of only 60, which is optimistic, and say each one only gets a 1 point deduction, you'd follow my logic here to say they're obviously down along with Chelsea., whenever it is that they resolve that nonsense.

Ultimately today is a good day for Everton but a really bad mistake by the PL, in my opinion they should've legitimately embraced the dodgy nature of this league and leave us off, all they've done now is made a rod for their own backs when they have to basically expel the league's two most recent European champions and the winners of like 9 of the last 10 league titles. They've now created a retroactive shameful period of the 2010s, they will have to ignore this period where the PL arguably became the greatest league of all time, in terms of fanbases, revenue, transfers, etc.

Ultimately I only truly care about Everton and this means we will almost certainly stay up but yeah baffling from the PL and if I were a fan of any other clubs that could be involved in this I'd be terrified.

They'll change the rules for them mate or find some loophole of clause.

The premier league don't want a league without Chelsea and Man City.

They also don't want the negative attention around it of in effect expelling them.

well no coz of we got tried after being honest and got done

forest have been dodgy as
You would like to think and by what have said we have started cutting down they would take more of that view and go more balanced. Still think we could look at 2/3 but screw forest if they have broken rules on players and for the periods under the case throw the book at them

There's no clarity on whether we will get further points docked by the second charge.

Anyone read anything anywhere in the statement that gives us a hint at least whether there would be double jeopardy?

How much is it? I can’t find anything online about how much theirs is
I don't think its been officially announced, but their limit was smaller than ours as it included championship years. They spent close to 150M last season, so that spend alone puts them well over their threshold. It's certainly move of an overspend than ours.
