Forest will get the same deductions too I imagineWe still have a second charge. So if we are less than 6 points ahead of Forest by the end of the season the league could still choose to put us down.

And that’s because the narrative being put out is that our breach is all about overspending on players. The media have been disgraceful on this.Exactly this, but their fans seem to be very happy thinking the worst they can now get is 6.
They know naff all lol I'm convinced that most of them aren't even aware that their breach is much worse than ours..Exactly this, but their fans seem to be very happy thinking the worst they can now get is 6.

Because from initial reaction, this decision seems to reinforce the decision than any breach is punishable by points deduction, and that breaching is the key issue, not how much the breach is.
You would hope just finishing above forest should keep us up taking into consideration Burnley and sheff United being down.If their breach is worse than ours then they’ll get more.
It is true.Even if that was true, £19.5m.
Anyone know what Forest are meant to be over?
My reading of this decision is that pretty much any breach will be punished by a points deduction (of some level).I think they are sticking to their model of 6 points baseline, +1 point for every further 5 mil.
Our original PSR calc was saying that our losses were 109 mil, so that's less than 5 mil over the 105 breach. Their calc was 124 mi.
I imagine the appeal has basically just let us have that given the conflicting info of how to apply the stadium build interest.
If the only reason we are in breach for the 2nd charge is the stadium interest, there is a very slim chance there will be grounds to null and void the 2nd charge, but we'll see.
*disclaimer - everything I've just typed could well be wrong
Couldn’t happen. Considering the PL punishments won’t apply to the EFL. So the PL could only relegate them to the Championship as they are separate bodies. If City get just half their offences done, then it would be say 50 x 6 = 300 should send them into league 1 or 2. Will not happen though because they have money.
We find out in April, I think the 4points been given back had became the "Norm" to what most had began to think over the weeks, so he may have guessed and added the 2nd part as a guess. we see. Douby the 2nd is scrapped at all, and wouldnt get your hopes up
What’s funny @Charlie Sweet cheeks?Exactly this.
They have sullied any reputation this league has; blown the integrity of this entire campaign out of the water the way they hit us and affected many other teams in the process; jumped in with a draconian punishment to show they can self regulate when in fact this appeal outcome has shown their actions to be illegal.
We should sue the backsides off them.
