6 + 2 Point Deductions

The more this goes on and the more stuff that keeps appearing everyday the more I think any top lawyer, not Morshiri going in and representing himself and the club, the more I think there seems to be so many steps that will lead to the whole thing becoming overturned, the new potential sanction and the old one. I just think any big time lawyer will figure out the holes and make the Premier League look awful in what they have done and are doing. I think the whole thing collapses under Everton’s defence.

Really I personally don’t think we get anything back

I’m not so sure that’s the case now. Two weeks ago there was silence and the subject was a given but since the start of the week with the new charge plus masters appearance, the noise has ramped back up.

Media coverage of the great work the FAB are doing plus carefully orchestrated club responses and some fair pundits which have spoken out that are well informed like Danny Mills can only help.

Much more of the above needed as these things tend to get to a point where the stink forces the hand. This is a PL that lives by brand and finance and the more the image is tarnished then the more likely a positive outcome will happen for us.

the problem with organisations like theEPL/FA, are that because it a private club, its their rules, so our Advocate could be super, and lash them all over the gaff, windmilling people left right and centre but the EPL/FA can just respond with, 'I hear what you say but were doing this anyway'. The only recourse then would be the Civil courts or something appropriate.

Very true and this is very similar in the kind of issues with a body like the PL as to some of the issues with F1 under Ecclestone and Mosley which was covered in the Braun documentary a few months back.

Ultimately you can’t go head on with these organisations which see themselves as self governing and outside of the law.

You hit them in the markets…

This is the problem. Completely agree any competent lawyer would tear it apart in court.

But this isn't court, it is unaccountable panel with no legal oversight to worry about. Hence my view as soon as second charge that we should go straight to high court for injunction based on law of the land breaches in the system.

That ESL stuff was a disgrace, I agree.

However, it ended up being theoretical as everyone rejected the idea, including the fans of the teams responsible, and it ultimately came to nothing but a fantasy of money grabbing capitalist business owners. The circumstances are different.

Saying that football fans shouldn't be punished because their team is affected by actions of those that run the club is also the stuff of fantasy though. We all love the game and our team, and the passion football brings out is wonderful, but you're deluded if you think supporters shouldn't be impacted by the highs and lows of supporting their club. That's football.

What next? It's not fair if supporters are affected by their team being relegated due to hiring a crap manager and buying rubbish players? Punish the owner, it was his fault! It's nonsense.
The RS rejected the idea when their fans told them to. Don't re-write history

Agreed.

It's like when a footballer (Sky6 obvs) rapes a women - she asked for it.

A bloke on the dole rapes a woman - lock him up.
