6 + 2 Point Deductions

the problem with organisations like theEPL/FA, are that because it a private club, its their rules, so our Advocate could be super, and lash them all over the gaff, windmilling people left right and centre but the EPL/FA can just respond with, 'I hear what you say but were doing this anyway'. The only recourse then would be the Civil courts or something appropriate.
That’s kind of what I think though. I think someone will make it look awful and it will basically be ‘either overturn all of it or we will see you in court’.

Perhaps civil action is what’s required?

That’s how OJ was held to account.

we should be publishing that we will appeal to the ends of the EPL appeal process then go to proper courts if we dont get our way, send a warn gin shot to the EPL that this will get messy and very protracted if they dig their heels in

Think what the IC rule about Brennan Johnson will be interesting: if they say, no you should have sold him for 15m less before June 30, we'll know it's nothing to do with profit & sustainability because that's less profit and therefore less sustainability, just to hit a number on a date. And what it'll actually be about is teams with money getting a nice bargain for themselves.
Well this is what happened to Everton with Richarlison.

You think Daniel Levy wasn't privy to our dealings with the Premier League! I doubt confidentiality and discretion is a thing with these hucksters.

The only reason you think that is because you just expect the worst case scenario to happen to Everton at all times. Not because we don’t actually have a case. At some point in this, logic, common sense and the actual law will have to come into play.
They should, but that doesn’t mean they will. It’s a private member’s club.

I don’t disagree with you but we need to be making more of a public fight of it, including threatening that we’ll go to the courts, if we want the self-serving lizards of the Premier League to give us anything.

If Forest don't get done, surely the fact we sold Richarlison before the deadline was completely unnecessary and has subsequently put us at a disadvantage. It blows the PL's arguments out the water.

Haha, everyone in the media has known about all the results before they have actually come out. Levy quite clearly knew we would have to accept the 60m.

I think his point is that it doesnt matter if they did or they didnt.

Its up to the Premier League to prove they did.
But I asked him a question NOT you?

Ask me - did Everton break the rules? I'll be honest and say that we did.

All I'm asking him to do is say Yes or No. A bit like we've asked that gwladys blert to say Yes or No.

Don't get me wrong because I have total respect for you but your comment sounds like you might have worked in a senior position in the Post Office.

Are you suggesting that the Sky6 might (with the PL's help) be being enabled to buy other team's players on the cheap. Begone with you and take your tin-foil hat with you.

Soz mate, I just saw the point he was trying to make, sorry I bothered now.

The more this goes on and the more stuff that keeps appearing everyday the more I think any top lawyer, not Morshiri going in and representing himself and the club, the more I think there seems to be so many steps that will lead to the whole thing becoming overturned, the new potential sanction and the old one. I just think any big time lawyer will figure out the holes and make the Premier League look awful in what they have done and are doing. I think the whole thing collapses under Everton’s defence.

I think we're appealing for a reduction. That's our hope. Don't think we'll be exonerated when there's already an admission of guilt.
