6 + 2 Point Deductions

You're simply not allowed to break the top 6. Look what happened to us when we finished 4th, readmitted Liverpool in play off v TNS we played Villarreal, collina brought out of retirement and disallowed goal for nothing. Leicester won the league. What happened to them? Nobody else anywhere near in 30 years. Honestly don't really understand why we have this new stadium

You are more optimistic than me.

The only reason you think that is because you just expect the worst case scenario to happen to Everton at all times. Not because we don’t actually have a case. At some point in this, logic, common sense and the actual law will have to come into play.
Which is the next step, even if the PL's decision is final. The PL must surely know this.

But OK, let's say the worst happens. The 10 points stick and then mid-April another 6 come off. We finish 18th and go down, but would have been OK if the original 10 hadn't been knocked off (sadly the extra 6 by now are legit due to the rule change coming before the 2nd referral).

Regardless, Everton football club cannot continue with the new stadium, it is left half-finished to rust until it can be bought. Laurence Rebinowitz KC never works again.

Then without a buyer, the club goes into administration. Nine points are deducted halfway through 2024/25 and another relegation follows, due to having a firesale of players in summer 2024 to keep the lights on.

In 2025/26 - the season that would have seen Everton move to BMD without the PL's wanton heavy handedness - the club rots in League One. A husk of what it once was. Goodison then fails its safety inspection, leading to a groundshare with Tranmere.

Meanwhile Manchester City, having easily finished 2025/26 in the top half despite their 20-point deduction, £100m fine and two-window embargo being imposed in summer 2025, continue laughing as they waltz into the sunset knowing full well they should be buried.

....and the PL think that we, and the city are actually going to let this happen?!

No. So that takes us to a class action - in the real world. In this scenario, if every Evertonian in the world chipped in £20 per week for legal fees (less than half a match ticket) along with the actual City of Liverpool, we could utterly decimate the rotten PL.

We'd get more in damages than we would surviving and they surely must know it. Hence it is in their best interests to give those 10 points back. Is Richard Masters so important to the 'integrity' of the brand that he isn't expednable. I didn't even 'kin know who he was 6 months ago!

I think we're appealing for a reduction. That's our hope. Don't think we'll be exonerated when there's already an admission of guilt.
We admitted guilt however if the big shot lawyer tears the whole thing down then they might have no choice other than to re write the rules and say they are currently not fit for purpose.

Has no one noticed that the appeal for our first offence has yet to be heard, we where told it was to be heard before the January transfer window so teams can react appropriately when the verdict is announced.

We still haven’t heard squat any reason for this ?

Comes across as a little sinister this
