From the Forest side this is a new experience, but based on what Masters said today we think these are the key points. Would be good if you lads could confirm:
1) Everton (record holders for seasons in the top division) and Forest (twice as many European Cups as City) are ‘small clubs’
2) 1 accusation in 2023 is treated more seriously, and swiftly, than 115 accusations before 2023
3) there is a date to look at City’s alleged offences - this date is a secret, but it won’t be this season. The precise timescale for Forest and Everton being assessed is widely published and any punishment will be this season.
4) Coincidentally, the rules will change between this season and next season
5) alleged offences by Forest and Everton are treated one at a time, and immediately. Alleged offences by City are only assessed once every detail of all 115 is known.
Feel free to correct any of this - it’s a steep learning curve
It's more or less it mate.
Cutting through the mass of information.
You are getting done for wanting to build a team that isn't just cannon fodder for the big 6.
We are getting done because are accountant leader put the loans in one pot, instead of saying we have two pots here, one for the ground one for daily running of the club,
If he had we could have claimed the intrest on the loans for the ground and not been done.
The Premier league just said you got those loans to run the club not to build the ground.
By the way until it passes planning permission none of the millions you have spent counts. Getting the land planning , design ect. Count either,
Like ground s just pop up magically put of the ground, suppose the do if you City or west ham but for the rest of us not very lightly.
We have already been done for two of the seasons under these rules, leaving the prospect that for one season of not meeting the rules you could get done for each of the next two or three seasons for the same offences.
It just rolls over?
We got are punishment in late August and couldn't sell anybody as the tranfer window was shut,
To make up the difference
They have asked for the accounts before the winter window meaning in reality,
When they gave the original penalty they knew full well we were going to fall foul again as they deliberately left us no where /way to get the money in.
Factor in the knew we were on the process of being sold , the old owner wasn't going to put millions on as it was going to be somebody' else problem.
The new owners can't sort it all out as the havnt been passed fit, don't think they will be myself,
All of which the Premier league knew, the government passed them fit three weeks a go, nothing from the league, wonder why?
But the Premier league as you can see have cynically manoeuvred the situation to suit themselves.
Hence you and us getting done before Masters goes before the committee.
It's a play by the league to try and not have someone having a say in the running of there plaything and you and us are unfortunately the ones they have deemed. Fit to throw under the bus.
We are a big established team , they want fresh meat to be served up to the tv brigade
We unfortunately don't fit there profile.
You are the upstarts that had the audacity to dream of joining the club,
Hard luck mate you have just been black balled.
You will pick it up soon enough, fans outside of Everton still havnt a clue what we are going on about, now unfortunately you will have to walk in are shoe's.
Your best bet is if Everton win the appeal and get some pionts back or you will be hammerd as well.
On City just pick one thing they have them bang to rights on, drag them in on that only then say we will deal with the rest at a later date.
Who is to say City are not up to stuff now.
Do they say well we had another 100 charges after that date of the original hundred plus so you can hang on again?
