6 + 2 Point Deductions

I can see master's hanging in there until his next bonus comes through, then jacking it in
No way can this lot sustain punishing us this much, then literally changing the goal posts from next season.
Surely even that smug (face you want to sl4p), knows there could well be a target on him

We haven't got a case though.

We have already admitted to breaching PSR.

Our argument is entirely regarding how much we breached it by. The thing is our arguments have more holes than a swiss cheese. Firstly we are trying to claim the 4% transfer levy should be classed as youth development. The transfer levy goes to players' pensions with any excess going to the professional game youth fund. So it is absolute nonsense to try and claim the 4% for PSR purposes.

Then we get to the Stadium interest payments. We are trying to claim interest when Club documents show the Stadium is being funded interest-free.

We are not allowed to enter any fresh evidence for the appeal. All we can do is try and show the decisions the Independent panel made were legally flawed. We haven't got a hope. We are being conned by the board again.
You keep going on about the interest on the stadium.. you do realise that this in not the main issue with stadium costs? The PL brought in a rule that stated all costs pre planning approval could no longer be written off, this rule was changed mid process and the commission agreed with the PL, they moved the goal posts and pushed Everton over the limit.
Please shut the [Poor language removed] up about the interest on the stadium you tiresome oaf.

PHWOOAARRR!!!!

I'm rapidly getting to the stage where I simply can't be arsed about football in general and Everton particular.

Pathetic on my part but I seem consumed by our difficulties and could be time to take a step back and find something else to do with my time.

Try not to sweat it too much mate, maybe just avoid the Everton forum if you can and if you can't then just do what I do, mock as many people as possible, create the odd photo of people in compromising positions or just spout unfunny sexual innuendo until you bore even yourself into submission.

It'll take your mind off the disaster we are and the horror show that is the people running the game.

She’s the MP for Gosport so she is well connected with the area around Portsmouth.
I emailed her, when initial charges were levied, she replied, with a very polite and honest message stating they would be looking into all matters as part of her DCMS position, it was appreciated then, even more so now when said "you dont know what your doing" I nearly fell off my chair lol

From Dyce

anybody?????

Here comes Sean Dyche and the Everton manager is first asked about the new charges brought against the club. He said: "I knew before the news breaking, not too far before. I think in a bigger picture view, I have been here approaching a year and in my timeline and certainly in the recent stats and facts I think we are in the bottom three or four net spends in the last three or four seasons. So there is a start point of the club motioning to doing things correctly.

"Since I have been here we have let players go out of contract. We have been working hard. We sold three young players in the timelines we were given to make sure the money was in. The new stadium speaks to itself, the affect that will have on the city.

"Alongside that trying to put out a team that can be competitive. You sort of end up with an on pitch sanction, there are mistakes we have made but that's a natural part of football, it's not an exact science. We get the initial spell, you lose 10 points and it's an on pitch sanction but we are cutting being on pitch powerful by cutting our resources."

yche was then asked his opinion on the club being charged on a period they have already been sanctioned on: "There are a bit of a challenge for us to work out why they were there but I am not going to go into the rules and regulations as I am sure they were laid out. I was trying to give a view from where I am looking at it all.

"I think the overlying thing that we are scratching our head about is the first situation really. Our focus remains on the appeal. I don't think it was just me who was shocked [about the 10 point deduction]. The pundits, the media were all shocked so we have to wait and see what the appeal brings. That might change and alter my view but not the bigger picture view."
