I think we should only go 3 at the back when we are at home and drawing or we are dominating games but can't find a way throught. I would be tempted to play Barry as the sweeper with coleman and baines as wingers with McCarthy and Barkley CMs and mirallas delefeuo on each wing

Just play the cock formation. Howard can be the little bit of pube delicately shaved into a circle above the shaft, distin and jags are the balls, then play 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 above them. Shake from side to side throughout the game to bum teams into submission.

Martinez had used it at Wigan but we don't have the players. Maybe in the future.
We need at least two CBs comfortable with the ball at their feet to help bring the ball out of defense.

A 3 man defense with Baines and Coleman on the wings sounds great to me.

Hate the formation, ive not seen it work in the prem for any of the teams that have tried it. Juve is a bad example because Italian teams play it a lot and it's kind of in there culture to play 3 at the back. Confuses the hell out of players too!

Maybe every now and then for a tactical switch in game to try and break a team down but not as a starting point week in week out pls.

By sacrificing Pienaar to bring in another centreback we'd be weakening the side. Our fullbacks are able to get forward at will at the moment without leaving the defence exposed and we've got enough bodies in midfield, so I don't see how it would benefit us.

With this lineup Barkley would make way for Stones. It wouldn't make any sense for us to do it.
