Every match has been competitive and well played save for the US battering Paraguay and yet we’re still going to hear complaints about the format. Yes mate I like football and hate Everton. Feels pretty normal for an Evertonian experience.

Fwiw I do love the club, but how we’ve been run the last decade I loathe. Constant shortsightedness, no ability to discern what does and doesn’t matter and an absolute addiction to backing the wrong people at all levels of the club. So yeah I don’t have a lot good to say. But football in general? I love that.
