It wouldn't surprise me that much if a part of the expansion of the tournament isn't designed to create the kind of mismatches that have allowed Ronaldo to pad out his stats so much over the past few years in the Euro qualifiers (and we increasingly see in the domestic leagues, where the gap between the top 1 or 2 teams and the rest is vast).

I think the Germans - who don't have a striker to speak of at the moment to compare with Uwe Seeler, Gerd Müller, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Rudi Völler, Jürgen Klinsmann, or Miroslav Klose - could end up with the top scorer after hammering Curacao tonight. There's a very small part of me that hopes this goes into double figures if only to expose FIFA's greed for what it is.

So both are very unlikely to you. For me former is very much the possibility come July
