Soccer.I still hope there are, the deck is being stacked ever more in the wrong way.
Anyway let’s watch some football!
Yes, I'm not American but I have always seen Team USA as unAmerican. Which makes them the good type. You can absolve the American people that are football fans.
I'd venture a guess 80% of us didn't vote for Trump.
Iran could win the World Cup and he'd still weasel his way into the celebrations and take the trophy.Yes, I'm not American but I have always seen Team USA as unAmerican. Which makes them the good type.
This time around, though, I don't want to see Trump get any kind of propaganda coup from them. Before you know it, they'll be lined up behind him for a photo op at the White House.
Certainly the reasons I watch it. Especially the last one.So what you're saying is that this isn't a representative view of the average American.

Maybe you should have planned a holiday in the US. Schoolboy error.….dedication
Timings of games doesn’t suit me which is a big shame as I’d certainly watch it all otherwise. I’m also on holiday in a week or so which will inhibit me more because of a different time zone.
SitholeWhich overrated player who has 1 1/2 decent games are we going to sign this time?
Wow! Your country that voted in Trump a second time after he got his cronies to storm the Capitol building.I mean every World Cup is a disgrace now. We had disgraces in South Africa, Brazil, Russia and Qatar. It’s been two decades since we’ve had a totally ethical tournament. It’s more disappointing that a country, my country, that is supposed to have a bit of a moral code is doing it too, and I get the outrage being greater as a result, but let’s not pretend that this isn’t essentially part of this tournament. And really it always has been.
I'm already fed up with the stop start nature of games and the feigning of injuries
