We are, yes. We are hitting new levels because we are now, with some justification, comparing the "Land of the Free" with a kleptocratic theocracy even if the actual human rights abuses were far worse in the Middle East. Due to my age my favourite World Cup ever is Mexico 86. Old enough to have found alcohol but too young to have a serious girlfriend that thinks life should somehow carry on as normal during World Cup. Shopping my arse as a certain Jim Royle would say

Mexico at The Azteca to me is everything about football I love and not even FIFA or VAR can take away
