Do people on the ST waiting lists have a precise number for their placing on the list? If so, what is the highest number we have amongst posters on here? If the renewal rate indicated on this poll is anywhere near representative, then there could be over 7k ST seats available to those on the list. So, it will be interesting to see if the take-up from the waiting list can match that.
I don't think it would be a wise policy for the club to try to reduce ST numbers to increase income from matchday tkt sales. If they can't attract them to take-up resale seats for msny games in the inaugural season, they're not going to afterwards at even higher prices. Of course, that could change with improved team performance too. But the point is, we haven't got unlimited demand for tickets, and the priority should be to maintain a full stadium. If people walk away, they won't necessarily come back anytime soon, and/or after they discover fire-sticks etc.
Without that surplus demand, the arse soon falls out of much of the stadium's whole business case. For instance, many took up the corporate lite packages to jump the waiting list, what's the point of them renewing if there are empty seats and general admission ST availability is there?
