I've already done so mate. The club has gambled on my loyalty and won. I'm as annoyed with myself as I am with scam artists who have done me over.
Listen I known and understand what you are saying, but to call people morons and then renew yourself doesn't add up. I'm not trying to be a clever dick either mate honestly. It's sad when I think of dad's and mums who have a couple of kids and maybe this is a step to far I do get that, but to think this wasn't going to happen is a bit blinded. As I've said previously my stand is different its just me and it's my vice, and they do play on it.

I'm calling people morons for being ok with being exploited. Because it is moronic. How anyone can be ok with this price hike is incredible. I've got ripped off. I feel ashmed and dirty about it. I'm a moron too for different reasons. I've let my loyalty rule me. I should've walked away but after 34 years of being a season ticket holder I've let them do me over.

Agree, and your last paragraph sums me and most people up. But it's never going to change, I've been saying I'm not getting another season ticket for years and years but I do, I'm scared I'm going to miss out on something big. But there will come a point...

The future is half empty stadiums made to look full using AI and other wizardry on screens all across the globe. The golden egg is being in the Premier league and getting all the financial sponsoring benefits that come with it, not Bill and Eddie from Scotty rd. The alternative is drop down a league or 2 where the local support is still needed. The game has been stolen off the working class.

This is the bit that I find hardest to swallow - significantly increased prices over a three-year period, and no explanation or reasoning.

We all knew prices would rise, however at least acknowledge or rationalise it rather than dropping an article about renewals and letting it go.

I've said elsewhere, thinking rationally, I primarily put these prices down to offsetting the cost of the stadium: the fans are paying for the build.

Which I get in a way because TFG were never going to swallow the cost, but importantly we the fans will then need to see the benefit of this.

And I don't mean nice views and better food; rather, the reasoning behind BMD was to help propel us forward, so the money has to go into the team.
Money DID go into the team. £100m of it. Nearly all totally wasted on overated players. ( Rohl - Barry - Aznou - Dibling )

I go Notts County and Ilkeston town now and i've literally enjoyed more games this season than I did at Goodison for the last few seasons.

Sure i'm not a true supporter of either but that means i can enjoy watching the games for what they are. It's good old fashioned football. At Goodison it just became the result was everything to me and I would put aside just how boring a lot of the games actually were as long as Everton didn't lose.

From an entertainment perspective lets face it this is not peak Premier League from many years ago anymore. Its more of a pass and possession exercise which bores the pants off a lot of us. Where are the Bergkamps, Zolas, Henry's, peak Rooney and Ronaldo, Giggs, Scholes, Hazard etc where you could at least marvel at some of things they were able to do as footballers.

So as prices go up and up (and they will continue to do so for a while yet at least) what makes watching the Premier League at least exciting and entertaining to watch, for our ever increasing money spent in doing so, even if Everton don't win anything?

i don’t think anyone is a moron for renewing

this club is the closest thing i have to religion. rightly, wrongly, or stupidly, i will care about it till the day i die

and I’m sure there are thousands who feel the same

we should protest it though. whether thats walk outs, banners, not spending in stadium etc
