Its been 24 hours, so thought i'd wait before being kneejerk..

The whole process just stinks to me. From needlessly including a 14-21 section, to the removal of "perks", the whole thing just screams the club are about their stations about where we currently are...

Im not naive enough to not expect rises. But our ST are one of the, if not the highest outside of London now, more so than our neighbours who are kicking off over a £1.50 price hike... add 66% on and thats us.

Not acknowledging the rise, pitiful. Even the reds gave an excuse...

Removal of half of the family section, yet expecting fans to make up the ground? Rotten.

Everything feels like a money grab and for what, £2m... is it really worth it, given the turnover?
This is the bit that I find hardest to swallow - significantly increased prices over a three-year period, and no explanation or reasoning.

We all knew prices would rise, however at least acknowledge or rationalise it rather than dropping an article about renewals and letting it go.

I've said elsewhere, thinking rationally, I primarily put these prices down to offsetting the cost of the stadium: the fans are paying for the build.

Which I get in a way because TFG were never going to swallow the cost, but importantly we the fans will then need to see the benefit of this.

And I don't mean nice views and better food; rather, the reasoning behind BMD was to help propel us forward, so the money has to go into the team.

Just the "take, take, take", approach gets me...

Did we need to move past the moniker of being "The People's Club", absolutely but i would be interested to see how many teams in the World (let alone the PL) offer add-on's like the £50 ST+ we've added.

The lack of acknowledgement is shocking. How much of a say TFG had, we dont know, but Leeds fans warned up about Kinnear.

I expect nothing less from the Echo. Its the local equivalent of the S*N. A filthy rag with a very clear cut agenda, and core audience of neanderthals that have the collective reading age of a five year old.

All it's fit for is gangland coverage...oh, and providing a platform for that annoying editor Thorp to launch a political career as a Starmer Tory Party drone.

The ever increasing giant prem league income of £150m, sponsorship money 100m, possible Europe qualification money. Surely we don’t need to squeeze the regular loyal match going fan they way they are.

To have the jump from Goodison and now 10% is shocking.

I support the development of the hospitality seats and Everton way as you can pay for that if you want and it’s great income streams. But the standard ticket no.

I expected 2-3% rise. But 10% is a joke. (The family area - awful, if they want to move people they should compensate the movers massively for one season imo) We are already better off with the new stadium so why do this to us. It used to be under £30 a match with ST a few years ago now it’s £42.

It seems the business model of if you are more successful in other areas then that justifies increasing the price for everything as it’s becomes a more elite product. when it should be the other way round. The better we do in other areas should actually subsidise the regular fan sections. But no chance of this. We are all just $ signs now in this industry.
Poor show.

The new 'Business President' said 5 weeks ago that stadium utilisation through extra non-PL games will keep down costs of Everton ticket prices.

So the 5 or so rugby and football matches played / secured so far haven't shifted the dial.

Kinnear is going to have to spell out EXACTLY how many and what kind of events it'll take to stabilise Everton ticket prices.

Right now they're lying about what value the extra games are to the fans of this club.

Does anyone know if Season Ticket + enables you to get a fast pass so you can have a wee in the Upper South Stand toilets without having to queue for 15 minutes?

Theyd do well in Club View to re-assess toilet split IMO. After Chelsea there was huge queues in the men's but there was multiple women's completely empty.

Id have liked/expected someone to give the common courtesy to explain/justify the price hike. The fact fhey dont feel they need to, and lash it out on a Friday doesnt bode well for fan treatment.

Given the scale of hike in recent years Id also have liked some assurance of no increases in the next few years.

The fact that there's morons out there actually saying stuff like "oh its only another 4 or £5 a game for something you enjoy. Whats the big deal?!" Says it all. This is blatant exploitation. Its pure greed. The club (and football in general) have made it very clear that match going fans aren't a priority. The money comes from tv and we're basically glorified background scenery and noise for their tv programme and the real audience watching it. So if that's the case then this pure greed is even more disgusting. Shame on the club and anyone defending this farce.

Any updates on if the physical cards will carry over next season, just renewed today. Understand the frustration with the price as like everything else just seem to be going ever higher

I cant believe an explanation wont come. That seems impossible to me given how customer-facing these clubs are these days.

I notice that Billy Hogan yesterday gave their fans a thorough explanation of why they've raised prices in line with inflation.

Are we to believe that our boardroom cant match that when asking our fans to go well beyond 3% ticket rises? Seems incredible to me. Too incredible. We'll hear something in the next few days, I'm sure of it. Probably hanging on to get any benefit from a win at Brentford.

Some people are just market-fodder mate. As long as they can pay it they go along with the stupid logic that more payment to the club will mean success on the pitch.

They don't do common courtesy . Last season they took away the 5% shareholder discount on ST's without a word. I don't even think they informed the Shareholders Association in advance. I'm expecting the OAP discount to be reduced in the near future.
