So effectively you renew first, then there's going to be a window to move? But the seats you can take will only be non renewals? The ones earmarked for general sale and seat unique will stay as they are? Unless they're planning on releasing more to the "waiting list" and you'd potentially get first shout at those seats. Imagine it will be slim pickings surely?

17% walking away from a ST at a brand spanking new stadium is a massive slap in the face for the club's commercial department.

They've spectacularly bollocksed this up.

Wonder how many of the 17% are out of towners who just can’t do the number of games moved from 3pm Sat…..Im one of those.

I did get an email this week saying that from next season, ST holders in Club View will be able to resell tickets on the resale platform.

Anyone who chooses not to renew likely won’t be able to get a season ticket again in their lifetime.

The renewal rate will stay as its always done in recent years at about 98-99%.

If the poll roughly predicts 17.5% that don't want to renew, in theory 'maybe' 17.5% of the next 2 batches on waiting list will refuse their ST offered. Many on the list will have taken notice whats gone on this season and changed their minds.

Huge difference between ticking no on a poll when in a nark and not actually renewing if/when the club finishes in the European places and all are on a high.

In reality the number who won’t renew will be less than a thousand… Will the club release all those tickets on a one for one basis? Unlikely as I suspect for every 3 that give them up then they may offer 2 to waiting list as they’ll want to reduce the Season Ticket base over time to allow for more single game ticket sales which in turn boosts memberships.

How many are in the waiting list? Even if it’s just 20000 then even if you move up the list by 500 a year it’s still 40 year wait

In years gone by, when I changed my seat... they usually made everyone renew, and then those who wished to change their seat would basically be "available" as would others who wished to move.

So you'll get first dibs at those unselected this season and for those which are available from those wishing to swap (i reckon there will be thousands of them too).

My understanding was that the unselected this season are the ones held back for general sale? So assumed they would stay like this (this might be wrong) hopefully some clarity soon!

Thats also the impression I got.
(And I think some of them were held back in the summer when people were choosing for the first time too - eg the South Lower was pretty much fully unavailable when I chose my ST apart from a couple behind the goal, but I'm assuming there are seats available in South Lower via the Ballot?)
