Need some good news. Not looking great for Harris in NC or GA it seems.

John King just showed an interesting map of how many votes are still to come in those states and they are largely from Dem areas. Let’s see if it goes that way

It wasn't the Dem politicians, it's Trump himself, and Miller etc.
There were literal Nazis wearing Nazis iconography and slogans on Jan 6th insurrection

Hope I'm wrong but the exit poll bbc have just revealed regarding the female vote isn't great for Harris. Just feels a bit ominous now.

With 38% of the vote reported in Texas, nearly 5 million votes, the difference in total between Colin Allred and Ted Cruz is fewer than 1000 votes.

So when did Democrats last win a state-wide election in Texas? You have to go back to 1976 surely.

The route that many predicted was her most likely way to the white house is still possible but I certainly wouldn't be betting on her at this point. Fully expect to wake up tomorrow to a Trump presidency.

I will try and maintain the hopium mindset that four years is a limited time frame within which to cause damage and whilst lots of stupidity etc occurred between 2016-2020, the US didn't implode and the world didn't end.

He is significantly more deranged now though, and the Republican Party literally has no one sane left.

Proper worrying times, this race looks pretty much ran, and the erosion of LGBT rights, women’s rights and the mass deportation of migrants is going to be really unpleasant. In addition to that, Gaza and Lebanon are absolutely screwed and we’re likely to see an even more horrid and brutal genocide there with that fat orange [Poor language removed] egging it on. Ukraine is screwed too as he’ll give Putin whatever he wants and leave Ukraine to its own devices.

Right now, with the proliferation of the social network, it's akin to 1,000,000 people all trying to yell into the same megaphone so I'm not going to stress and have faith my country isn't as naive as my suspicion would have me think it is (IMO, largely due to a fair chunk of its rural populace, even in this day and age, being so out-of-touch with the here and now, through no fault of their own... it's a different life, rural America, as anyone who's born here or has lived here long enough can attest to.).
