All the large metro area counties in Texas, save Dallas County, reporting record turnout despite most having polling places open fewer hours. Dallas was basically on par with 2020. Biggest issue there is an absurdly large ballot taking each voter longer to cast their ballot.

Wow. Kamala Harris is attending a rally in Houston (Harris County, the largest by population in the state by far) on Friday, just 11 days before Election day. To give an idea of Harris County's size, over 125,000 people voted on day 1 of early voting. That's more than in Austin and San Antonio combined.
It's fascinating to me that she will spend time in Texas so close to the end of the election. I am sure a big part of it is raising money but Texas?
