2 lone republican gun-nuts
2 massive hurricanes taking lives
possibly the only person disliked more than trump doing cartwheels on stage for him
the worst situation in the middle east since desert storm i
an ever increasing battle of attrition in Ukraine
economies under pressure
global migratory pressures due to environment, war, economies and resource theft

"calmly"? "something is up"? understatement is quite the skill.

I'm not putting down anyone. I'm saying racism is an ideology and therefore socially constructed; it's not a natural scientific phenomenon. Skin pigmentation and physiognomy have been chosen as markers to distinguish and subjugate. It's a fairy story to justify colonialism and then imperialism.

Americans are potty-trained to view things through the prism of 'race' - just as we in this country are, but to a much lesser degree - that's why it'll be an issue on Nov 5th. There's no pomposity in pointing that out; the vast majority of Americans would agree that it will be an issue, and many will also recognise how bogus the notion of 'race' is too.

You say you're not putting down anyone, and then you make the bolded comment.

I also, again, have absolutely NO IDEA what your point is. That in a perfect world race shouldn't matter? Sound

I'll let the white supremacists and those who don't think that white supremacism isn't a deal breaker know we are all part of the human race; therefore, race doesn't matter

Cool

It seems that you are basically saying that racism does exist but shouldn't exist but in an extremely pretentious manner 🤷‍♂️ 🤷‍♂️ .

No. How can that be so?

I'm stating that to be anti-racist is to refute the bogus classification of 'race' and 'races'. Race doesn't exist. It just doesn't.

Many people have been misguided into using the term to describe black and white etc.

In any case - and how it relates to this election - because Americans are brought up to view most issues through the prism of 'race' it'll have its effect. How could it not? Nevertheless (and this was my point) I dont see it being enough to save a purveyor of racism like Trump from defeat.

I hope it doesn't affect the election results but it is always a possibility given the state of that country.

I agree.

But IMO - and the national polls reflect this - a simple majority of Americans are sick of him.

His removal from the body politic of the United States (notwithstanding his army of min-me's who'll be trying to fill his shoes) will hopefully see some semblance of normality come back...at least domestically.

Kamalas tv visits were quite bad jeez.
So cringe. Her answer to the question: "Why do people think they dont know who Kamala Harris is?" was absolutely amazing.

Biden clearly lost all the respect towards her. Strategically scheluding his tv appearances on top of Kamalas was quite interesting.

I understand they are blamed for the poor response to it. (+FEMA is broke and thats not good how ever you look at it)
Their "poor response" to it is largely bull that has been spread by Trump and Vance, so much so that FEMA launched a fact checking page on their website to refute their claims. Let's also remember that it was only Republicans in Congress that voted against a FEMA funding bill just days before Hurricane Helene hit.

Damage was done already. And they cant pull back what Harris with her own mouth spouted. 💵💵
