Prior to the 2020 election, I had no knowledge of 1/6 holding any significance whatsoever with regard to the presidential election. You had the election in early November, and the inauguration in late January and that was it.

I don’t see an issue with it either from a personal perspective - it’s refreshing. However we live in an age of 3 second clips and shameless deceit. He just needs to be kept in the White House for 2 months I think.

I did say the novelty of Harris would wear off.

It's a good job for the Democrats that it's Trump they face, because his almost non-use of the failure of Bidenomics and the border situation has allowed culture politics to have a big say in the polling numbers we've seen, making it tighter than it ever would have been under another GOP candidate who'd have hung Harris out to dry well before this point.

That said, it'll always come back to "it's the economy, stupid", and Harris is likely to squander the lead she built up. She's a terrible candidate with f.a. to say beyond women's reproductive rights - which is important but isn't enough.
