I’m struggling to follow the logic of his defense here. He says the story is impractical because he was already famous at the point, and he couldn’t get away with anything with people watching. My understanding was that when you’re famous you can just grab them by the [Poor language removed].

I'm well and truly in "the tent" if I were American I'd be voting for Harris, Trump is an abomination and wants to create a dictatorship, I consider him a threat to NATO and the western world

Honestly, that would make me think twice about voting for Harris, although I'd still end up doing it because I wouldn't want to live in a Christofascist theocracy.

Unpopular opinion here, but I don’t mind this as a position. It’s horrifying, tone deaf and insensitive, sure, but it at least is a logical conclusion and acceptance of the consequence of the 2nd amendment.

If, as a country, America decides that allowing people to freely have guns as a constitutional right is fundamentally important to them, the consequence of that position is regular school shootings and 50,000 gun deaths a year.

The pro gun lobby need to own that position, and win that argument - that the benefits outweigh the costs.
