No one, including Democrats, actually wants Biden to run. No one. This is being reflected in the polling.

All the MAGA people LOVE Donald Trump

When we get toward November, and people realize their options, they will ultimately realize that there really are no options - it's Biden or the Criminal that by any objective measure is the most unintelligent and unhinged excuse for a human being to hold national public office.

I'm cautiously optimistic this country still has enough people that recognize the lesser of those two evils.

Politics 101: get your base out to vote. It's difficult to motivate your base to vote when 'no-one' is enthused by the candidate. You at least have a fighting chance when your base is guaranteed to vote. Dems are leaving themselves open to 2016 again, when we had a previous Dem candidate no-one was particularly enthused about.

I have some sympathy with Dem insiders though. Their bench is not especially strong this election cycle.

Polling from the NYT just released shows Biden in a world of trouble. Down in the general poll, down even more in swing states.

Well you clearly don't. It's a choice between Biden and Trump, nobody else has a chance of winning. So clearly Biden is the better option in the real world, not the mad place in your head.

I was watching a CH4 news report earlier and I was staggered to see a lot of black - especially young black - people in Atlanta where the debate is held tonight saying they'll vote Trump this time around.

Biden is in some serious trouble if he's losing that demographic to Trump...and in Georgia.
