All the lightning we had the other night set off fires, smoke has got so bad we have had to close all the windows despite the heatwave.

We had solar installed recently as our bills were getting too high because of the heat. We got batteries too because of SDGE.
We are in a high risk area for fires. So much so SDGE turn off our power when heat and winds are high to limit damage caused by their aging equipment. Which they got those grants for.
Now despite this they have decided to run new overhead lines in the valley over the hill here from one city to another.
Yes thats despite the heat and winds and the increasing amount of fires.
Instead of listening to residents about underground lines or at least rethinking this they will likely get the final go ahead this week.
I wish they would read tweets like the ones you post about the current state of affairs in this state haha!

Trump keen to send troops into Oakland for demonstrations or Florida/Texasfor help with hurricanes but pretty quiet when comes to helping control California wildfires.
