What are you supposed to get rainfall? Here they are saying 5-7" in about a 12 hour window. Thats....a lot of water and not that far to go. Thankfully our grounds are really dry lately..

It‘s tracked further west so I’m only 2-4 inches. River is low now so storm surge shouldn’t be an issue either, but I’ll be on the tornado side.

The sun is out in Duval. Put the bird feeder back up, and the chickadees, titmice, and that family of cardinals that live in my front yard are happily munching their breakfast. Best of luck again to all in Carolina and points north.
You still in Rocky Mount? We're a little to your west in Wake Forest. I was hoping it would stay off shore but yesterday on windy.com it had the eye coming over our house!

Well this thing is moving REALLY fast. Some wind, like 35mph with gusts over 50+, lots of rain but it was meant to be from about from 2 hours ago through almost this evening and it's almost out of the area completely..

I spent the weekend at the in-laws place in north west CT with a chainsaw clearing the mess left by tuesdays storm, a tornado also hit their village 8 days ago. So it's a mess around there. Power and internet still out in most of the neighborhoods. They rely on tourism and were just beginning to get a lot of local visitors for outside dining, antiquing, micro breweries etc. when everything had to be shut back down.
