Side question to the main one.

Who do people think is best placed to beat Trump? Irrespective of whether their policies align idealistically with your own.

I think most of the candidates have said or done stupid things in the past, doesn't change my opinion of them now.
That's fine, but a member of that community may feel rather differently (along with their friends, family etc). One of a handful of reasons she won't be near the top tier of candidates.

This early in the game any poll is mostly going to be an index of name recognition and I’d be surprised if they had any predictive value. Recall how few would have predicted that the current POTUS would beat such a large field of Republican candidates last time. Regardless, I’d be happy to elect a potted palm over the present incumbent so, uhh, go team.

Tulsi Gabbard all the way. Sanders and Warren both great but they are too old. Sanders will be 81, Warren will be 79 when/if they get the presidency. I am tired of old people govern masses.

Tulsi is a young progressive, promising candidate. Really like her.

need to do more research on the chap, but andrew yang does very well here in the Pakman segment

I am a little disappointed Sally Yates went back to the day job after standing up to Trump and exposing that human slime ted cruz, very impressive orator

You've added a few years on there - especially to Warren.

Warren wouldn't win against Trump in my opinion.
