If we make the ridiculous assumption (since a huge number of them would be understandably sceptical of such a scheme and of supplying their information) that every single undocumented person in the US took up the $1200 offered (AND making the even more absurd assumption that every single undocumented person in the US is 1. an adult and 2. eligible), it would account for about one quarter of 1% of that bill.

THE HORROR
I kinda long to see the day when roles reverse and it’s us that have to emigrate for a better life and opportunities.

Did they just renew a bill that the government can go through internet history of anybody without a warrant and they but forward an amendment that would at least mean the government would need a warrant and they voted against it.

Apparently they just need one more vote to pass t and Bernie could have done it put he didn’t show up. Anyone hear anythong on that?

Even though I dislike Biden a lot I can’t watch his videos of him gaffing and not knowing what’s going on in the rare little media he does as the hide Biden strategy is implemented. it’s so cringe and I kinda feel bad as much as I think he’s despicable you’d think I’d enjoy it but it’s sooo bad. Can’t watch I fast forward if a clip pops up.

I feel bad for the staffer that has to dress him in the morning

Yep, there were 4 senators missing and Bernie was one of them.
An amendment from GOP Sen. Steve Daines of Montana and Democratic Sen. Ron Wyden of Oregon was defeated by the narrowest of margins, falling one vote short of the 60 needed to pass, 59-37. The senators' amendment would have restricted the searches of browser and search history under FISA's Section 215, which grants federal authorities the ability to obtain tangible things under the FISA law in national security investigations.

Of the four senators who missed that vote -- Sens. Patty Murray of Washington state, Bernie Sanders of Vermont, Ben Sasse of Nebraska and Lamar Alexander of Tennessee -- at least one would have voted in favor. Murray's spokeswoman confirmed she backed the amendment, but was flying back to Washington, DC, from Washington state.

A disgrace.

I wonder if they left this to a vote to the people what the results be. They represent sweet FA in terms of the people. And shame on Bernie and the like.

Like it’s outrageous. Foreign policy and war crimes are outrageous. The exploitation of the working class is outrageous.

Trump getting dirt on opponents from a foreign state. Not nearly as much. But let’s be outraged and focus on it for a year.
