I keep wanting to congratulate you by paying attention to this LL but I badly don’t want to patronise you. you know some pro dems would pay more attention to a spelling error I. a tweet from orange face than this. Accusations against Biden are pretty horrible. Christ.
Personally feel the evidence for the sexual harassment charge is pretty clear cut. The sexual assault allegations are realistically weakened by the changes in reporting - felt this was a good description in the Vox piece.

Yeah I have seen that and it does corroborate that there was an issue. But it doesn’t shed any light on a) the nature or severity of the issue b) whom the issue was with - the ”out of respect for the senator“ comment somewhat confuses me tbh.

We all know nothing is going to be done but its worth noting. Which is the sad truth not just because its Biden but this happens every day in all walks of life. So hard to tell which one is telling the truth, different motives, etc because the overwhelming evidence needed.
That is why I feel people should not make this a partisan issue.

yep. But that’s common place with sexual assault victims experts will say they will release wha really happened clear cut over time due to trauma. At the time they can’t face the exact truth.

We have at least progressed a bit as since MeToo most accusations now get some checking rather than automatically dismissed.
Maybe these sorts of allegations are ignored so depressingly often due to the status of the accused, that victims know parties looking for an edge are far more likely to listen to you and support you during an election season. And yeah, it's probably political opportunitism by the Republican party, but I doubt that's the motivating purpose of the accuser. She might just see a chance to be heard for once. I think she's very very credible
