The people I know who dislike Harris just say, "She was a cop" (by which they mean she was California AG and made some questionable sentencing decisions) and leave it at that.

Exactly. Most didnt know who she was and those that did mentioned actual stuff like what you just eluded too.

Trump is willing to go that dirty he’s not even running yet. Meanwhile Bernie is neck on neck with Biden and has not mentioned his decline once and calls Biden his friend.

Trump is going to be like Ramsey Bolton from Game of Thrones. He will have people calling him Reek while mutilating him.

He knows the system. I’m sure he saw what happened in 2016 and just knows what the DNC want the DNC will get so he is counting Bernie out with that knowledge. So it’s best to lead with the currupt dnc line for starters before he eats up Biden for the main course. I’d say that’s his strategy.

Or of course there’s the massively more likely option that he (rightly or wrongly - I am not saying that Bernie COULDN’T win) would much, much rather run against Bernie than Biden.

Based on what, out of interest? Because there is NO available metric that backs up your opinion.

Again, not saying Bernie can’t win (and certainly not saying Biden is a lock - Trump is likely favourite whoever he’s facing, such is the advantage conferred by incumbency) but his path is without a doubt more difficult than Biden’s, given demographics and the EC system etc.

He wasn't even attacking Bernie when the narrative was that Bernie was on the verge of running away with it.

the economy still being good favors trump.. plus trump is the king of playing dirty look what the video clip being posted has done already like death says clips like that can trick swing voters which will decide the election.. trump could lose though I mean generally joe biden is more liked then Clinton.. clinton is a better talker then joe though which Is what i think will sink joe when the time comes.

See metrics were constantly used for Hillary by Democrats to beat Trumps base over the head with with confident defiance. The numbers didn’t quite add up in the end.

Being a good talker didn't help Clinton... which kinda lessens the idea that it will "sink" Biden... especially seeing as he is (A LOT) more liked than Hillary.

It's also not like Trump will just decide to "play fair" if Biden ISN'T the nominee. He'll be scaring those "swing voters" to death with talk of communism and Venezuela etc etc.

Biden actually has a working coalition among the parts of the Dem base that you NEED to win a General... Bernie can definitely win, but only if he can activate the youth vote - which he's been entirely unable to do so far in the Primaries.

I wonder how long they are going to continue having rallies - seems unwise at this time particularly given the candidates themselves are in vulnerable demographics.
