In all seriousness there is toxicity on all sides online. But the only gripe people seem to have with Bernie is there’s a lot more toxicity from his fans and they hate the ‘Bernie bros’ but that shouldn’t have you arguing against Bernie or make you dislike his campaign. Or make you prefer Biden to him.

7 of those middle fingers have been from Bernie Bros in the last 24hrs...

By the way, that's compared to a total of ONE from Donald Trump supporters in the Trump thread lol lol lol

The reason it appears like people end up defending everyone but Bernie is that the "Bernie Bros" spend all their time ATTACKING everyone but Bernie... and often making up almost Trump-esque levels of nonsense. See Mr Come-Lately 1990 for a solid example.

It's hardly the full force of the gang.
There's a few disappointed Warren supporters on here.
It's tough when you're candidate doesn't succeed.
So yea, I'm fed up today but I've been respectful in my posts, till the last one with everton1990.
I know Warren, she lives a mile away from me, she's been an excellent advocate for the neediest in American society.
We now have a race between two old white dudes, one who seems a bit mentally unstable and the other who works outside the system and shows no willingness to change.
I have a 1 year old kid and insurance that costs 1k a month but covers nothing. My taxes have gone up under Trump and I cant afford 4 more years of him. So I'm in a tough spot.
Up untill the last week there was sometimes fractious but mostly constructive chat in here, this week it seems to have gone off kilter with people from different countries who don't fully get the significance of how this all affects me/Americans on a daily basis.
So you'll have to forgive me when I'm put out by dan giving me the finger or you calling me a Biden Bro or Everton1990 spouting unintelligible nonsense.

Bernie fans accurately pointed out that Clinton saying "deplorables" was hardly a way to win over potential Trump voters and that not addressing Sanders voters concerns from the 2016 primary she was at risk for losing some to Trump.

Sanders has a platform that attracts a lot of even so called "establishment" democrats, a focus on those policies and the benefit they would provide is probably more effective than say snake emojis at building a coalition.

Hope things improve for you @Ruairi77. The insurance thing is just mental, and it's horrendous to see it quantified there. I obviously have no idea how much you earn, but unless it's in the tens of thousands a month range, the difference between what you're paying there (PLUS some of your taxes going towards publicly funded healthcare) and the sum of money from my taxes (UK) that goes towards the NHS... is just staggering.

this forum will be fun on the night of election.. saying I told you so is gonna be fun so it looks like you will be getting 4 more years weather u like it or not unfortunately. trump sucks but the democrats are making a terrible choice with biden.. its clear now biden will win the nomination but he will lose the general.
