I'm not sure why that supposition is either manifestly false or extremely questionable (except to the extent that it's extremely questionable whether Trump will lose at all, such is the advantage of incumbency) when the person with the biggest advantage vs Trump in EVERY battleground state poll is a moderate. (I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you meant moderate, rather than centrist - there are no centrists (by US standards) running for the Dem nomination)

Er - what I said was whether a centrist (or moderate) candidate exists that will beat Trump and that the Democratic establishment will pick that candidate. There isn't one, and they wouldn't anyway. The moderate belief is (edit: or at least appears to be) that there is, and they would.

So you ARE saying there isn’t one, right?

Which the evidence doesn’t seem to indicate is the case.

Of course there isn't one; thats why Sanders is in the position that he is, and why the race is in the shape its in. Can you honestly say there is an outstanding moderate candidate this time around?

not sure the bit in bold really tracks, but moving on...

Depends on your definition of outstanding.

if it’s an outstanding potential President, then no. But then the only person I’d put in that bracket in the entire race isn’t doing great in the Primary.

The most likely to beat Trump (by pretty much every state-by-state head to head poll) is a moderate though. He’s not my choice for POTUS, but Biden consistently polls ahead of Trump in the key battleground states. Something which Bernie (so far) doesn’t do - certainly in the polls I’ve seen.

Warren: "I don’t believe democracy should be for sale to billionaires and giant corporations. I don’t take corporate PAC money. Shoot, I don’t take PAC money of any kind...put your money where your mouth is and say no to the PACs"

Nevertheless, she persisted.

And she’s supposed to do... what exactly, to stop them? She’s not taken money from them, they’re airing uncoordinated ads supporting her candidacy.

Any comments on the polls @LinekersLegs posted

Mate, please.

But okay, even though there is zero chance that she is not entirely aware and on board with this, and just to entertain the premise, I believe it was a certain Senator Warren who was just the other day demanding that candidates be held responsible for their supporters?

Hypothetical head-to-head polls almost a year out mean virtually nothing.

Ok. Everyone's a liar except Bernie. Got it.
