I'm glad you voted.

And you're right, you didn't vote for May. Or against Corbyn,

What is your constituency?

Knowsley, so even I don't give a crap in reality. Won't make the blindest bit of difference.

Just my own little kick at Labour for the direction they've taken, as little as it matters.

I voted Conservative for the first time in my life.

I didn't vote for May; I voted against Corbyn.

I sincerely hope Labour give me something to vote for next time, as that is my default political leaning. But I'm not going to vote for something that crosses so many personal red lines just because I'm a Scouser and "I'm supposed to".

News just in, Tubey confirms everybodys thoughts.

More as we get it.

And I've got more respect for you for providing your reasoning than other posters who skirt around it.

It is your democratic right to vote for the person who represents your community in Parliament, vote with your heart and your head, not your wallet.

Good luck to you.

'Kin Tory. Lol

I actually don't understand anyone in Kirkby voting for Labour, to be frank.

What have they ever done for you? Close libraries, knock down colleges and give you an elephant in a boat, a dead tree with a UFO stuck in it and a bunch of 'selfie chairs'. Whop wnop.

All voting for Labour does for Kirkby is that Labour take your votes for granted and don't lift a finger to do anything to benefit for you. If Kirkby suddenly voted en masse for the Tories and actually made it a marginal, you'd soon see the bar steward politicians get off their arses.

I asked you to provide evidence of the work the honourable MR fox has done in your constituency that persuaded you to vote for him, I think that's fair?

Well you didnt actually, you launched into a predictable rant.

Locally, Liam Fox has been a supporter of a rail link from Portishead to join the main rail network into Bristol and beyond. Its been 20 years plus in the making, and finally, some pressure will be removed from the abject traffic problems we have. He memorably called Portishead "The most congested Cul de Sac in the UK" to some Transport meeting trying to get some central funding.

The schools in North Somerset are excellent. Have been for years. My Missus works in the main GP Surgery in town. Yeah, under pressure, (who isnt), but as a local ex GP in nearby Nailsea, he has been very supportive of local partnerships between GP Surgeries in surrounding towns to reduce procurement costs for them.

He is a regular attendee and supporter of local charitable events, carnivals, flower festivals, that sort of thing, and holds regular constituency surgeries in all the main towns, that are well advertised, and well attended. (I assume most do, but I can only vote for one)

Now I guess all of ^^^^ will make you glaze over, but you asked.

As I said. I have no appetite for either the election, nor none of the main parties. So I judged the incumbent MP on his LOCAL record.

Happened to be Liam Fox

Mate, I'm struggling not to knee jerk here.
I usually get these markets right in running as well.

Hmm, I'm thinking here there's an element of being 'shy to commit' because of GE 2015 / Trump / Brexit, but virtually all polls have it in this range. When you think about it, it's quite a block. It's over a third of the entire Scotland MPs in Westminster.

According to an article on CNN, 9pm is when journalists start to get briefed about the Exit poll prediction, so any big movements around that time is probably someone texting their mates (or you know what I mean)

Or you could have just spoiled your ballot paper.

Because their funding comes from central government.

If they had more funds your washing lines would be chockablock with socks for you all to rob.

Or you could have just spoiled your ballot paper.

Why? That'd be akin to not turning up, there's no point. I'm not an anarchist.

I live in Knowsley. Howarth/Labour got 78% of the vote last time. The sole reason I'm voting Tory is a vain attempt to lower that percentage down and hope beyond hope others have the sense to do it to give Labour a kick up the arse.
