According to Sky News this morning she arranged yesterday's interview herself (her team I suppose) against instruction from Corbyn / McDonnell

I think she will be sidelined if he gets in
posted last week they should have kept here under lock and key, had a bit of a scout around the net on the newspaper sites without fail they have an article mocking her, if she has done that herself she needs sacking.

Diane Abbott could be Home Secretary come Friday; that's a frightening thought
SNP have put the boot in they will if a hung parliment definitely team up with Jezza - it took a very expensive advert to promote that idea for a Tory win last time FGS , and Corbyn has side stepped this issue when asked FGS!

All her anti austerity programmes in scotland have produced a 9 billion overspend, and negative growth - the fall in oil prices have been a big factor too - this will not help Labour's cause one bit!

She was definitely sidelined after the police numbers debacle, and what I think she has done is seen the polling numbers tightening and thought it was safe to put herself front and centre again. Sky were never going to turn down the chance to interview here, even if it was arranged only by her team, because it was a guaranteed disaster and good for viewing.

The most damning thing is that she doesn't even seem to have prepared for the interviews or have little idea about the role she is supposed to be the Shadow secretary for. Terrible.

Sturgeon and Abbott are basically free advertising for the Tories. Nobody sensible will want either of them in government.

to be honest Orly she looked like she was suffering the affects of sleeping tablets or something, even by here own standards she wasn't very coherent

Although Corbyn has already done this before he needs to distance himself again from any chance of a coalition with the SNP. That would back fire in a massive way, no one wants a group with nationalist views anywhere near government and would lead to a surge in Tory votes come Thursday.

Judging by Abbott calling in sick for Women's Hour earlier, I think we can put to bed the idea of her being Home Secretary if Labour were to win this week. Corbyn is loyal, but he's not stupid, he'll know she's out of her depth, he's just not going to string her up in public days before an election.
