I think if tonight and the Neil interviews have taught politicians anything, its that debates are much less destructive than this format is.

Austerity is not the only option. Especially when its an attempt to balance the books on the backs of the poorest in society.

Then suggest an alternative?

The UK spends the majority of it's money on welfare, healthcare, education and defense. It has to cut funding from somewhere. Which of the above is preferable to you?

Or should they make cuts from something that's unimportant and equally insignificant?

We pay more on debt repayments than we do on Policing & law and order. Annual debt repayments are more than £40bn. Imagine if we were debt free and had an extra £40bn to spend, instead of servicing debt!!

Mr.Corbyn want to borrow more, increasing debt repayments, increasing debt... thus 'kicking the can' further down the road. It's a problem that has to be dealt with.

Is correct.

And therein is the reason why debt is not good. Corbyn's spending will need paid back at some stage, and his borrowing will get the deficit back up to the levels of Brown. Living within your means is not boring or dull or reckless, it's responsible and wise, and sustainable.

A National Investment Bank is one alternative to austerity, which Labour proposed.

You thought corbyn got ripped to bits ? Seriously, I'm not the blokes biggest fan but tonight only one person Stunk the place out and it was somebody who prides them self on being strong and stable .

As has been said it's clear why she swerved the debate , you don't do that if your confident in yourself.
So that's why she got a standing ovation after the Paxman interview?
