That may work for you, but we would probably be better off trying to get rid of this cozy little political class that has led us down this sorry path.

Apologies, I read your original post as if you were saying it's too big a mess and we can't do it. We can of course but June isn't going to go away. We can and will have already pulled in some experienced negotiators. But it needs political strength to get a good deal for the UK. I just don't see Corbyn doing this......

May will not be negotiating, in the same way I suggested getting Brown on board, he would not be a negotiator. They just need to be the backstop. The EU will have the EU council and we need a robust and clear thinking oversight group.....

Well I definitely wouldn't' put Theresa May and clear thinking in the same sentence. The same would apply to that buffoon Johnson, never mind Davis who can't make his mind up about what will be needed after Brexit. The Tories haven't got one clear thinking individual in the cabinet never mind a group of them. They will be contradicting themselves and falling out as they are now.

TBH the fact that Davis can't make his mind up at least suggests he is thinking properly about it. May is guaranteed to be wrong.

They gave us a vote on the EU as promised, and now we are leaving the EU........we now have to negotiate a leaving deal and set up deals with the USA, Canada, Australia etc. I would prefer May rather than Corbyn doing this.......

...because Cameron thought a 'Remain' vote would be a stroll in the park. The promise was made in the first place because of that, and nothing else. Shows you exactly how much he was in touch with the ordinary people of the UK...

I don't even think he gave the referendum promise a second thought tbh. I think he was just as surprised as everyone else by the Conservatives majority victory. He was already planning ahead for a second coalition government with the sniveling Nick Clegg and the Lib Dems. If the election of 2015 had ended with another coalition then he'd have his ready made excuse to not give the referendum. And even when he did win I doubt he gave the referendum much thought until late on when even the most delusional remainer had to admit it was going to be tight. He no doubt thought he could bluff his way through the referendum easily with a smear campaign, and why not? After all he only became leader of the Tories after smearing all his opponents in the leadership contest and subsequently won two general elections with the same tactic.

May is guaranteed to be wrong, over the 'negotiations' is very much to the point.

Davis changes his mind more than anything. Take the border with Ireland one minute there will be 'no checks' then they will be 'light'. Not a good sign really. The Tories refuse to discuss the border with Ireland after Brexit, even though they claim this election was about Brexit.

A German gets on a plane in Berlin and travels to Dublin. He gets off the plane and buys a rail ticket to Belfast. Said person arrives in Belfast because there is no border checks. He is now an 'illegal' immigrant. The UK government has to hold said person until they can be deported as an illegal. What is to stop thousands doing this to get into the UK I.e Northern Ireland.

Of course, the Irish government can't stop the German travelling to Ireland. If there is a 'light' border, said German will be stopped on the border and detained on the border.

Of course, the UK government could pay the Irish government handsomely, as they do the French. Or they could threaten their trade with England.

No wonder the Tories don't want to discuss anything to do with Brexit, apart from May is a 'strong and stable' leader who will get the best deal for the UK. That is looking more and more ridiculous by the hour.

Wher as Corbyn in his negotions will lay down on on the carpet like a puppy dog to get his tummy tickled he could negotiate himself out of a paper bag!
We would lose billions with him at the helm debt upon debt over the border in Scotland the SNP anti austerity policies are falling flat - zero growth - high unemployment- she will team up with him god help us!

Any other highlights over the last 7 years that will make us a more prosperous country?

Brown's argument in 2010 was that cuts to public services would be disastrous because the private sector would never be able to create the jobs to pick up the unemployment from public sector. job cuts By all accounts this was proven to be complete rubbish (as are all of Labour's fantasy economics) as we now have more private sector jobs than ever. This should come as no surprise, as the Left has never understood the power of free markets to create wealth rather than just move it around.

Joey, the way Corbyn has handled himself over the lies, slurs and innuendos during his election as leader of the Labour party and this General election, should indicate that he has the ability, nous and strength of character to negotiate with the EU.

The Tories May, Johnson, Davis - and wasn't there another bloke who was hailed as the saviour of the UK - haven't exactly covered themselves in glory during this election campaign and before. The u turn over putting self employed national insurance contributions the same as those on PAYE - something they claimed was the right thing to do because of fairness - should indicate that they can't even think things through at leisure. What they will be like under pressure I dread to think. The Tories usual megaphone shouting at the EU is not going to work.

The u turn over her social care policy - whereby her husband's company would have had a nice little earner from the changes - highlighted how bad she is when it comes to thinking things through. It is the Tories who get in a pickle when they have to deal with the real world.

"Don't worry," he told the EU leaders, "I'm a winner."

Nice one, Dave. You let internal Tory politics change the course of history. Strong and stable, strong and stable.....
