I know it's the age old cringe-worthy Everton cliche but a fit Mirallas will literally be like a new signing for us. I hate myself for saying this but he will make a massive difference to our chances of fourth.

I'd say we still have a good possibility of signing someone. We tend to keep transfers completely off-radar up until they're just about done. If we have 10-12mill to spend then I'd be really excited at seeing who we could get. For the life of me I have no idea why we didn't get Holtby for 1.5million.

Holtby will be on wages we couldn't afford at Spurs anyway so why are people going on about it.
