As you say, unlikely IMHO, it all hinges on EFC being able to make Sevilla lower their asking price which is a tall order 15 hours before the deadline since they hardly have time to get a replacement in.

We could make an agreement with Negrado's club, announce it on the offical website, release pics of the player looking happy as larry on his way over, then bring up an injury we knew about that he had 6 years ago, and change the initial agreement to suit ourselves, it will all work out

He's Yakubu the 2nd, starts great then gets bored. Could be ideal for us for 2nd half of season then ship him out again for profit when his stock has risen again.

"David Moyes*switched his attention to Negredo*after an £8.6m deal for FC Twente midfield man Leroy Fer*collapsed. It is a bold move by Everton - Sevilla rate Negredo at around £13m but their current financial state may force them to accept less.

"Despite a taciturn response to questions about possible transfer business after last night's win against West Brom, Moyes is also chasing another as yet unnamed Spanish target."
