I wouldn't be suprised if we do sign Fer at the last minute. The body language of Elstone looked off (blinked loads). I cannot see us signing Negredo as he would have little sell on value and cost a lot of money but we could use this as a neccessary stalking horse. Both players would see us make a huge push for fourth / FA Cup but we all know the finances are rubbish. Whatever happens we desperatley need some extra quality. To sit 1 point off fourth and with a chance of another shot at the FA Cup it would be criminal to not roll the dice a little now.
