this is probably the good striker moyes turned down that we found about last week. not getting my hopes up for a £7m signing liked in the fail

Just got this off skysports website.

Sky Sports can exclusively reveal that Everton will sign 22-year-old Netherlands international midfielder Leroy Fer. The deal will see Everton pay FC Twente €10m (£8m) for Fer and Sky sources also understand that this deal does not mean that David Moyes will have to sell to fund the signing.

yeah john merro is a **** looks like he might have been right for once though ha

you mean he saw the daily mail article before us? ha

he doesn't sound like the brightest lad based on that horse story - but the stallion was called django and i ****ing loved that film, I'M IN. would rather us spend £7m on a boss striker though (if true)

That bolded bit is the interesting bit.

Sounds definite.

Surely not?!

****ing kidding me, i've had the tab with the transfer clockwatch open for about 10 days and i answer one phone call and whilst my back is turned it comes up and you break the news, fuming

ha, okay i'll accept IT's on

Would make sense when you consider the last player Moyes went for was Odjidja-Ofoe who plays a similar kind of role and the link last week with M'Vila. He also acknowledged after Felli's performance at the weekend in a deeper role that he thinks he's far better playing further up the field, so must be a position he is keen to strengthen. I have to say from the little I have seen of all these three, I would prefer Fer to either of the other two.

Wont believe it til I see him in the Blue on the OS though. At least it is a position that the Barcodes have already recruited to this window, so hopefully no gazumping us from then as in the past.
