We didn't score in the first game after I was born but Andy King scored in the next one at Maine Road.
I was born whilst we were beating Fulham 4-1 to win the 1963 League title. Not sure of the exact time that I was born but Roy Vernon got 3 (5', 8' and 83') and Alex Scott (20') got the other. Suffice to say my dad was at the match.

Sort of slides with Graham Stuart for the ball as he’s running down on goal and it volleys into the top corner. Only remember it so well as I had the Everton VHS mag that was brought out that time with Duncan Ferguson’s first interview
